Stefani Germanotta, better known to the world as dance pop recording artist Lady Gaga is being sued by her ex-boyfriend Rob Fusari. Fusari, who just happened to be her business partner and producer, sues Gaga for $30.5 million, claiming that after their relationship went sour, Fusari was pushed away by the singer, despite prior business arrangements (mainly a 20 percent cut).

Youtube have launched a new partner program, dubbed Musicians Wanted, specifically for indie
musicians who use the site to upload music videos.
The partner program will allow those who are accepted to upload their music videos and get
paid for each time their video is played, even if the video is embedded into other websites.
The artist still has 100% of the rights to their song, meaning the song will not be taken
down due to copyrights or other infotainments that musicians have faced with the website in
the past.
Ironically the first band to sign up for the partner program is video-aficionados OK Go, who
faced trouble with their latest video for 'This Too Shall Pass' when their record label
would not allow the band to embed their video on to any website other than their own.

The Black Keys have posted a new song from their upcoming album Brothers, entitled 'Tighten Up,' to MySpace.

In a recent interview Jack White spoke out about the criticism his ex-wfie and drummer Meg White. Jack White explained that Meg chooses a minimalistic approach to drumming to avoid over-complication, and added that she has inspired many to pick up the drums.
"Her femininity and extreme minimalism are too much to take for some metalheads and reverse-contrarian hipsters,"
"She can do what those with 'technical prowess' can't. She inspires people to bash on pots and pans. For that, they repay her with gossip and judgement."

As had previously been rumored, former Killswitch Engage frontman Jesse Leach rejoined the band for their performance in New York City on Thursday night.
All That Remains vocalist Phil Labonte had been filling in for the departed Howard Jones, who left the band for undisclosed reasons, however Leach was able to fill in for one night.
The band's set consisted mainly of Leach-era material, featuring songs such as 'My Last Serenade' and 'Numbered Days.'

Pendulum have posted their new single 'Watercolour' to MySpace.
'Watercolour' is the first single from the band's forthcoming third LP Immersion. Frontman Rob Swire has alluded to various collaborations on their new album in recent interviews, but has steadfastedly refused to name who they might be except to say that they are "major electronic artists".
Immersion is set to be released on the 24th of May.

Rap mogul Sean Combs (a.k.a. Diddy) is considering embarking on one of his most ambitious projects to date - taking over beleaguered English football team Crystal Palace.
According to the Sun, Diddy is interested in the second-tier club - which went into administration last month when majority shareholder Simon Jordan withdrew financial life support - because he likes the name.
It quotes an unnamed source: "Diddy was in London meeting football fixers a couple of weeks ago. The finance is in place, he's just deciding who he thinks he'll make a bid for."
The source added: "He could cover their [Crystal Palace] debt and bankroll a return to the Premier League."
Gigwise received confirmation of the reports from Diddy's spokesperson.

Green Day have revealed that they are already working on a follow up to 2009's 21st Century Breakdown. The band has been demoing new material that they have been working on during downtime from their tour. Armstrong stated:
“We did some demos in Berlin, some in Stockholm, some just outside of Glasgow and some in Amsterdam,”
"We wanted get [the songs] down in some early form."
Big Star frontman Alex Chilton died on Wednesday at the age of 59.
Memphis native Chilton was at his home in New Orleans when he fell ill. He was taken to hospital and died shortly afterward of a suspected heart attack. He had been due to fly into Austin this week for the South By Southwest festival, where he was to perform with the reunited Big Star.
Chilton was immortalised in song as the subject of the Replacements song 'Alex Chilton,' and was one of the most high-profile survivors of the Hurricane Katrina disaster. Chilton had been feared missing in the floods, but was found and promptly evacuated in the early stages.
The line-up for the biannual Buzzfest rock festival in Houston, TX has been announced.
The festival will take place on May 2 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion in the Woodlands in Houston.

Reggae artist Eddy Grant is considering legal action against Gorillaz and has claimed that the group's single 'Stylo' rips off his 1983 song 'Time Warp.'
Grant said: "I am outraged that the Gorillaz have infringed the copyright of my song Time Warp, claiming their song Stylo to be an original composition. My song sits almost note to note with their release and is a blatant rip-off.
"Time Warp is a very popular song and has been a staple of the DJ scene for many years, and I feel total disrespect from Gorilliaz and their management company, especially as they are an established act."
Grant and Gorillaz also share the same music publishing company in EMI, leading Grant to say that he should have received a call asking for permission to use specific parts of 'Time Warp,' the flip side to his 1983 single 'Electric Avenue'.

Aiden have decided to postponetheir European and UK tour in order to start work on a new album.

Karaoke twins Jedward have been dropped by label Sony after their debut single 'Under Pressure' failed to reach top spot in the UK charts.
The Irish duo, John and Edward Grimes, were catapulted to fame last year on the back of their success on Simon Cowell's TV talent show X-Factor. The pair didn't win the competition, but their distinctive haircuts and unique interpretation of harmony caught the nation's imagination, leading the show's sponsor Sony Entertainment to offer them a deal.
Their first single, a cover of Vanilla Ice's 'Under Pressure,' featured a guest spot from the American rapper, but only managed to reach #2 in the UK singles chart.
Manager Louis Walsh is understood to be in negotiations with other labels to resurrect the twins' career.
In honour of St. Patrick's Day (March 17), Irish musicians Neil Hannon (The Divine Comedy) and Thomas Walsh (Pugwash) have composed an alternative national anthem, entitled 'Ireland! Ireland!'
The pair released a cricket-themed album last year under the moniker The Duckworth Lewis Method, and were commissioned by the Irish Times to write the latest piece, which has been posted for free streaming and download on the newspaper's website.
The issue of the national anthem is a particularly thorny issue in sports such as cricket and rugby union, both of which Ireland competes in as an island rather than two separate countries. The compromise anthem 'Ireland's Call,' composed by songwriter Phil Coulter,' is used for games outside of the Republic but is generally considered dire by the populace.
